Two weeks before myself and few of my colleagues arrived in Canada. After 2 weeks of office, today we got a chance to explore the near by places in Toronto,And the first thing on our list was Niagara falls.
I would let the pictures do most of the talking here.
The Niagara River, as is the entire Great Lakes Basin of which the river is an integral part, is a legacy of the last Ice Age.
The Niagara Falls, located on the Niagara River draining Lake Erie into Lake Ontario, is the collective name for the Horseshoe Falls
and the adjacent American Falls
Horseshoe Falls is the most powerful waterfalls (vertical height along with flow rate) in North America.[1] Niagara Falls forms the international border between the Canadian province of Ontario and the U.S. state of New York
The Horseshoe Falls drop about 173 feet (53 m), while the height of the American Falls varies between 70–100 feet (21–30 m) because of the presence of giant boulders at its base. The larger Horseshoe Falls are about 2,600 feet (790 m) wide, while the American Falls are 1,060 feet (320 m) wide. The distance between the American extremity of the Niagara Falls and the Canadian extremity is 3,409 feet (1,039 m).
One of the attractions there was called behind the falls and it was an mesmerizing experience for me to stand near the magnificent falls about which we had read in our books
After experiencing the walk behind falls we had small stroll near the lake and i had few unusual friends posing for my cam
I guess its the seagull.bu not sure.If any veterans out there. Please correct if wrong.

By afternoon we were in Floral garden which had a wide varieties of flowers on display
After sending few time here we proceeded towards butterfly park.
However when we reached butterfly park it was almost closing and we had to rush through
After that we went back to see the illumination of the falls which was the high light of the entire trip.
The light was flashed from the opposite side of the falls and the they were just mind blowing under those lights.
The illumination was so good that we who were almost wanting to lay down somewhere was walking for almost 1 km.
Finally after spending a fruitful day we left Niagara falls parkway. However the image of the gigantic falls will be in our minds for a lifetime.
