Canyonland national park,Moab,Utah

Canyonland national park is situated near by Arches national park & is around a 1 hour drive from arches.I was lucky enough to visit the canyonland national park last week with some of my friends.Canyonland is not best visited in winters but since i was on a short trip to united states i could not get a better time to visit this place.

The route to the canyon national park is a deserted stretch but a very beautiful one. These places would have been best visited during summer but then what we got to see was also not very bad.we were driving in deserted roads all the way with heavy fogs covering our roads which scared me to death. One of the very first view point on this stretch was the mesa view point. We could not hike upto the mesa arch because it was all freezing cold & we were not prepared for that.

After capturing some moments here we proceeded towards the other attractions of this park like the horse shoe view point & other places. Most of them we could no see because of the amount of snow in these places but that never kept us from having some fun on the deserted roads..

The drive through these roads were a amazing experience. Both the sides were completely coverd by snow & i guess we were the only living things present any were around,it was an awesome experience..

After a day long of travelling and chit chat it was time to return back, but canyonlands & arches national parks were so impressive that if i get a chance to return back to united states these two places are definitely on my travel destinations.Eventhough it was extreme cold weather canyonland gave some pretty scenic views to cherish for a life time.
